Aegean Rebreath was nominated as the best environmental organization of the year in the context of the Hellenic Responsible Business Awards 2022! The honorary award was granted on the occasion of the pilot program on cigarette butts which is carried out in the Rafina region in collaboration with the local authorities of the Rafina-Pikermi municipality and the support of British American Tobacco Hellas.
The award comes five years after the establishment of Aegean Rebreath as an NGO and is undoubtedly a great recognition for our organization and our work. The award acknowledges our efforts to strengthen environmental democracy at both a local and a national level.
In Aegean Rebreath we believe that this distinction also concerns our volunteers, partners and supporters who keep enhancing our work by all means. Therefore, we would like to warmly thank those who actively contributed to receiving this acknowledgment and ensure them that this urges us to develop even more promising outcomes.
